Welcome back boys & girls! Registration for the fall season will open Saturday August 11th! Sign up here online or come see us at the park from 9am-1pm any of the following dates:
September 1st (Last day to register!)
Some Frequently Asked Questions:
When do you play?
There are two recreational seasons - Fall and Spring. Signups for the Fall season start in August, and play runs from September to November. Signups for the Spring start in January, and the season runs from February to May. In season, practice nights are either Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Game nights are either Thursday or Friday and there are games all day on Saturdays.
What age children can play?
We offer baseball "from 2 to 22". The "league age" of a child is whatever their age will be as of next May 1st. So, for example, let's say a child who is 6 years old is signed up for the fall season. His 7th birthday is April 30th. That child has a league age of 7, even for play in the fall season. Our divisions are:
Introductory T-Ball, 3-4
Coach/Machine Pitch, 7-8
Barracudas Collegiate team (by invitation only) - any selected player enrolled in college
What equipment does my child need?
At a minimum, all players need their own baseball glove and batting helmet. We also recommend cleats and a bag to carry equipment. Most children like to have their own bat, but if you're new to the sport, there will be plenty to borow/try.
How much does it cost?
The cost is $135 for residents of the City of West Palm Beach and $150 for all others. That includes all games and practices as well as your player's jersey and hat. There is a $10 sibling discount for multiple children from the same household.
How can I help the program?
We love volunteers and need them to keep a strong program going! Beyond coaching, there are opportunities to help in all kinds of ways, be it registration, concessions, administration, scorekeeping, team moms, etc. We will train you! All volunteers are required to pass a background check. For more information, please contact out volunteer coordinators.
See you at the park!
